Alone to Die by Thomas Coulibaly is a graduation film from IDHEC, completed in 1960.

An African American man is in detention. He firmly refuses the wooden cross that a guard wants to give him. The guard brings in a Black priest. The priest tries to convince him to repent, but the prisoner reacts violently and threatens them. Unable to calm his anger, the two men leave the room.
