In 2026, the Jocelyne Saab Association partnered with the Marseille-based associations Dodeskaden and Primitivi to create the Marseille World Database.
This Diaz Interregio database, accessible on Amorce, provides free access to documents and films, as well as their metadata. The Jocelyne Saab Association is thus currently working on the documentation and online publication of the film archives and digitized paper documents it has been digitizing since 2019.
The database aims to make the following materials accessible:
- the films of Jocelyne Saab and associated digitized documents (when available: screenplays, research materials, contracts, press reviews);
- Jocelyne Saab’s unrealized projects (texts, rushes);
- IDHEC student films made by students from Arab countries and preserved by La Fémis at the French Film Archives;
- films digitized by the Jocelyne Saab Association within projects led by partner organizations (Algerian Cinema Digital Archives, Braquage, Atelier du 7e art, Cinémathèque Beirut, etc.);
- films produced or co-produced by the Jocelyne Saab Association (workshop films, supported projects).
