In partnership with Polygone étoilé and its Ligne d’Erre residencies, the Jocelyne Saab Association offers training-creation residencies for filmmakers wishing to work with 8mm, Super8 or 16mm archives.
These residencies consist of an initial training workshop in mechanical restoration and film digitization, followed by a period dedicated to derushing, writing and meetings to help develop the film. At the end of the residency, the digitized images and the filmmaker’s reflections on these archives will be presented at a partner festival.
