The Jocelyne Saab Association is launching a new activity: training and creation residencies, in partnership with Polygone étoilé.
From April 3 to 24, the Jocelyne Saab Association and Polygone étoilé welcome Lebanese filmmaker Karl Salame to the Ligne d’Erre residency.
Karl Salame attended the digital film restoration training in May 2024 in Beirut and arrived with a suitcase full of 8mm film reels belonging to his family, telling the story of his lineage. To complement the film preservation training begun in Beirut and to support him in the development of his film, the Association organized, in close partnership with Polygone étoilé, a training residency in 8mm and 16mm digitization and scriptwriting for Karl Salame’s project. The digitized images will be presented by the filmmaker at the Aflam festival on April 21, 2025. Join us!
