[2024] Marseille

 Editing of 16mm positive and negative silent films and pre-show screening-performance of the film Once Upon a Time in Beirut : Story of a Star at Le Gyptis cinema.

This workshop was hosted and co-organized by Dodeskaden, a film dissemination laboratory in Marseille, based on a proposal by Braquage and the Association Jocelyne Saab. The one-day workshop focused on editing and projection techniques (loops, double projections, playing with projection speed, etc.).

The results of the workshops were screened with a 16mm double-projector at the Le Gyptis cinema as a pre-screening for Jocelyne Saab’s film Once Upon a Time in Beirut: The Story of a Star, as part of the complete retrospective of films offered in Marseille by the Jocelyne Saab Association in February 2024.
